# About SharedMinds

**SharedMinds** is a virtual coworking community for solo founders,
developers, designers and creators. Tagline: *"Where work actually gets
finished."*

The product is built around one repeated loop:

1. **Declare** what you're going to finish in this session.
2. **Work** alongside others for 25, 50, or 90 minutes.
3. **Finish** — report whether you finished, partially finished, or got
   interrupted. The outcome is recorded on your public profile.

That's the entire product surface. No task manager. No Slack-style chat.
No calendar. Just the loop, repeated until finishing becomes a habit.

## Three session modes

- **Solo** — just you. No video, no audience, no community feed. Same
  loop, same accountability.
- **1-on-1** — one partner. First person to claim the slot becomes your
  pair. Private video room.
- **Group** — the whole community. Shared video room, live session feed.

## Who it's for

Independent professionals working alone:

- Anyone whose week has too much freedom and too little structure

## How it differs from competitors

- **vs Focusmate** — SharedMinds adds task declaration + outcome
  reporting + lasting community connections. Focusmate is camera-on
  pair-coworking only.
- **vs Flow Club** — SharedMinds adds the declare-to-finish loop and an
  individual public track record.
- **vs Asana / Notion / Linear** — SharedMinds is not a task manager.
  Tasks feed the declaration step but otherwise the product is about
  presence and finished outcomes.

## When it launched

The product pivoted from an ADHD personal productivity app to its current
community coworking shape in May 2026. Free to use at launch. Future
plan: freemium once the community reaches roughly 100 active members.
